My hope is that this volume may prove as useful in arousing the reader to a more vigorous understanding of Christian Science and a deeper appreciation of Science and Health, as has “The Line of Light,” published in 1929, thus corroborating Mrs. Eddy’s statement in the Preface to Science and Health, that, “A few books, . . . based on this book are useful.” In preparing the addresses for publication, I have tried to avoid duplication as much as seemed wise.
